12 best DFW celebrations popping the traffic jam on New Years Eve 2021

Somehow we have come to the end of another difficult year. New Years Eve in Dallas-Fort Worth always features a nice variety of events, leaving kids and adults alike to let loose, let go of the year that has passed, and shout as the countdown to midnight. Below are some of the best options for integrating 2022 in style. (Note that some are daytime events at more family-friendly times, and others end in time to celebrate the New Year at home.)

Four-day weekend New Years Eve party
People on both sides of Fort Worth-Dallas can enjoy the Four Day Weekend end of year show. Both Fort worth and Dallas events will include the hilarious interactive comedy show, a cocktail-style dinner prepared by Reata, a ticket to a future four-day weekend performance, a champagne toast and freebies.

Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents “Swing is the Thing”
In a marriage of music and movement, four world-champion swing dancers will take to the Bass Hall stage to strut alongside the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and conductor William Waldrop in a performance that captures the 40’s and 50’s swing era. Audiences can listen to favorites from Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Bill Haley and the Comets, Jerry Lee Lewis, and more.

William Lee Martin’s New Years Eve in downtown Cowtown at Isis
Fort Worth native and comedian William Lee Martin, whose comedy specials can be seen on Amazon Prime and AppleTV, will bring fresh material and hilarious new stories to a New Years’ Show in downtown Cowtown at the Isis. A VIP experience includes a post-show meetup with Martin in the theater’s private underground bar.

Noon’s Eve at the Fort Worth Science and History Museum
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is having a family time New Years Eve celebration from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Noon New Years Eve will feature activities such as party popper-making, exploring different New Years traditions, learning about New Year animals and making lunchtime resolutions. Guests can enjoy the excitement of the celebration without staying awake until midnight with a Noon New Year’s Eve ball drop and winter STEM activities.

Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark Presents the Epic Family New Years Eve
The Epic Waters crew will send 2021 and ring 2022 with Epic Family New Year. The event at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark in Grand Prairie will feature circus and aerial shows, hula dancing, interactive games and more. There will also be a special Hawaiian-themed dinner, featuring a pig on a spit, pulled pork sliders, ribs, coconut shrimp, and pineapple inverted mini cupcakes.

Irving Cares Presents New Years Eve Party
Irving Cares will present its first New Years Eve party, a signature event to celebrate the New Year. There will be cocktails, appetizers and live music provided by Ricki Derek and his 16-piece band, followed by current hits played by DJ Melodies & Memories. A champagne toast will celebrate the arrival of 2022 at the Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas.

A New Year in Hollywood at the AC Hotel Fort Worth
This classic Hollywood-themed party will occupy four floors of the downtown hotel. A five-course dinner will take place in the 16th Floor Ballroom, transformed into the iconic Brown Derby. The main stage will be on the first floor of the Hollywood Backlot, with music from Mix Tape. The AC Lounge will be transformed into the iconic Frolic Hall with music by singer-songwriter Robert Redwine. The junior ballroom, Grauman’s Theater, will feature nostalgic movie concessions and a house DJ.

New Year’s Eve at the Hotel Vin
The Grapevine Hotel will host a Gatsby-style party to celebrate the New Year. It starts with a five-course menu served in the Bordeaux Ballroom overlooking the historic main street. The Statler Presents New Years Eve Black and White Party
Statler’s New Years party in Dallas will be a recreation of Truman Capote’s legendary 1966 “Party of the Century”. La Tour de la Réunion presents Over the Top NYE
The sixth annual Over The Top NYE fireworks show will feature a new element, a 225 drone light show that will join the 5,000 pyrotechnic special effects and 259 LED lights that promise to make the spectacular 360-degree panoramic fireworks display. most memorable degrees since it began lighting the Dallas skyline in 2016. There is no on-site viewing at the Reunion Tower. Residents are encouraged to watch the show from other nearby viewing locations. Stay at home? NBC 5 will air the show starting at 11:30 p.m.
