Sedona’s parent company Taphouse’s newest property occupies 6,700 square feet in Westchester Commons with a show kitchen, an outdoor bar with a wood-burning fireplace, and a self-serve wine lounge with 24 selections to choose from.

You may remember Executive Chef Todd Johnson from Mezzanine in Carytown. There he drew inspiration from his role as Wolfgang Puck’s sous-chef at the famed Spago restaurant, as well as time spent in kitchens in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Indonesia. India, to create a menu of West Coast-inspired dishes with seafood, steaks, salads and sushi (I’m eyeing the chorizo-roasted oysters and pineapple creme brulee).

The regular wine list focuses on Californian selections with plenty of options by the glass. There is also an extensive cocktail and beer menu. Guests can also join the NAPA Wine Club for exclusive access to wine tastings and Wines of the Month. NAPA Kitchen and Wine, Westchester Commons, 15825 WC Main St., (804) 893-5684 https://nkwine.com
